Evangel-class Battle Cruiser

The newest warship in the Wyvernian Navy, the Evangel-class battle cruiser is set to be the standard in the Imperial Navy.

Heavily based off the aged United States Navy's Alaska-class battle cruisers, the Evangels were designed with the Wyvernian's signature Diamondite armor, and improved weaponry, engines, and radar systems. Different modifications to the Alaska's design included an added main turret, a removal of the catapult, and a different paint scheme to make the Evangel-class not only an effective vessel in nighttime raids, but also useful in the light of the sun. To date, 5 of these ships are already built and more are planned in the near future. There are two versions of the Evangel-class battle cruiser: the Mod A, which has the same secondary battery as the Alaskas, and the Mod C, which has the secondary battery of a Montana-class battleship.

Although more of the same as the Alaska's weaponry, Wyvernian technology allows the 12" guns to hit as hard and far as a 14" gun, while keeping the relatively short reload time of the regular 12" weaponry. The Mod III 5-inch guns were likewise fast-firing, but have longer range and better punching power than the regular models. These improvements, along with the Evangel's newest fire control systems, enable these guns to exceed their potential as powerful naval weapons.

I had an Alaska-class battle cruiser base from Wikipedia and decided to use it to make the Evangel-class. Though I had to edit a few things about it, such as adding another turret, removing the catapult, and making a different paint scheme. Pretty much, the only thing that was copy/paste was the rear battery. Nearly everything else was edited. :3
